Lauren and Rick pt.1- Outer Banks

I am really excited about getting to take the engagement photos of one of my best friends of many years! We recently went on vacation to the Outer Banks in North Carolina so we decided it would be a great place to take some of the photos! We will be having another photo shoot at the Indianapolis Museum of Art this month. I'll post some of those photos in a future post but for now here are some shots from the beach! They made my job easy by looking so good.

The First Gig

One of my dearest friends, Ms. Tiffany, recently asked if I would take a number of head shots for her company Slingshot SEO as well as some candid photos of an event she put on at her company! I was more than excited about the opportunity and here are a few of my favorite shots from the night!

Here Goes Nothin'!

Photography has always been an enjoyed hobby of mine and as of a month ago that is all that it really was, a hobby. Recently I have been asked to take more and more photos for friends whether it is headshots, event candids or engagement photos! With this new explosion of gig's I decided maybe it is time to turn it into a little side business and see what happens!

So, I realize the lack in creativity with the name Marissa Davis Photography, but I don't think it sounds half bad myself! I am always open to suggestions though :D
